I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University in 1993.

In 2008, I received my Masters Degree in Library Media.

My first teaching experience was with Kids Korner Private Kindergarten at First United Methodist Church in Guntersville in 1996.  I taught there for 2 years using the Abeka phonics program which was also the same reading Program that I went through when I was five.

Only three days after having my second son in 1998, I was hired to teach 1st grade at Big Spring Lake Elementary.  My second year I was transferred to kindergarten which lasted for 13 years.  In the Spring of 2012, I decided it was time for a change.  I transferred to Albertville Primary to teach 2nd grade! I am now beginning my 16th year with the Albertville City Schools.

My husband, Michael, and I married in June of 2008.  We have a blended family of 4 boys.  Their names are Deric and Devin Wright from Albertville and Justin and Hunter Doyle from Scottsboro.

We attend LifePoint church in Albertville and enjoy going to Tuscaloosa to see the TIDE whether it be football, basketball, or softball.  Michael works at Propac 5 days a week and part-time at Foodland.
