I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University in 2006. In 2011, I completed my Master's degree in Library Media, from the University of West Alabama.

I am starting my tenth year at Albertville Primary School. I started my student teaching in second grade at APS in the fall of 2006. I graduated in December 2006 from JSU and in January, I began a maternity leave in second grade at APS. As soon as the second grade maternity leave was over, the very next week, I was able to take on a maternity leave at Big Spring Lake Kindergarten School to finish out the school year. Both maternity leaves were a blessing and the timing was perfect! In the fall of 2007 I was hired to teach second grade at APS. I taught second grade for two years, then moved to first grade for one year. I have been back in second grade from that point on and I love it! I feel very blessed to be part of such a wonderful school!

I graduated from Douglas High School in 2002. I attended Snead State Community College for two years before transferring to Jacksonville State University in the fall of 2004. After graduating from JSU in December of 2006, I married my childhood sweetheart and best friend, Chris Reese, in 2007. We have a daughter and a son.

I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I love each day! I am looking forward to another wonderful year at APS!
